Avoiding Wrongful Termination
This course discusses the principle of "at-will" employment and the important exceptions to the presumption. At the completion of this course, managers will be able to identify practices that could create liability and identify methods for effectively handling employment and terminations so as to minimize the risk of a lawsuit. Preventive measures outlined in this course can be used to help avoid a costly wrongful termination claim.
