Fraud is a widespread yet often misunderstood topic that ensnares many businesses and business people, partly due to ignorance about it. Fraud involves intentional deception to deprive others of something valuable or personally enrich another. Employees need an understanding of how to recognize and prevent fraud, whether it occurs within or by their organization or against it. This course covers two types of business fraud: a) occupational fraud, or fraud against one’s employer, and b) general business fraud, or fraud conducted by or against a business in relation to a customer, supplier or another outside party.

This course is delivered as an online eLearning course, designed to help employees learn at their own pace and in their own environment at their own convenience. Learners will require access to the computer and internet.
